The Church Council Sint Hubertus Berchem appointed the “Team Advisers + Wessel de Jonge Architecten” for a feasibility study about the partial or complete reconversion of the Sint Hubertuschurch, located Victor Jacobslei, Berchem - Antwerp.

The assignment should result in one or more realistic transformation proposals – corresponding to the urban and social needs, the functional and programmatic requirements, the structural, financial and economic feasibility, and the cultural and historical framework.

The aim is to end up with a socially and economically feasible redevelopment plan that – with respect for the original function of the church – embeds the church again in the neighbourhood - as one of the pilot projects for the “Parish-churches-plan” of the City of Antwerp.
